Morning Drop-Off: A Warm Welcome for you and your furry friend(s) (7:00 AM - 9:00 AM)
The day with us at Zoomies starts bright and early. Our friendly staff are always excited to greet both you and your dog with enthusiasm, we love you as customers but let’s be honest the dogs are why we are all here 🙂
- Each dog is known by the team a personalized welcome helping them transition from home to day care. (challenge Tia she will get every name correct and know their personality)
- Dogs are given a chance to relieve themselves in our designated areas.
- Breakfast is served for those on a morning feeding schedule
Morning Play Session: Allow your dog to release some energy (9:00 AM - 11:00 AM)
After all our furry guests have arrived and settled in it is time for their morning play session
- We group Dogs based on size, temperament, and energy levels for safe and fun play for everyone.
- Our spacious indoor play areas are fully equipped with various toys and a few mini obstacles.
- Supervised play helps dogs burn off energy and socialize with their canine friends.
- Staff members engage dogs in games like fetch, tug-of-war, and obstacle courses.
Mid-Morning Rest: Relaxation Time (11:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
After an energetic morning, it’s time for a brief rest.
- Your Dogs are given fresh water and a chance to cool down. (Water is always available but we constantly refresh it)
- Calm activities like gentle petting or quiet toy play are offered.
- This downtime helps prevent overstimulation and promotes balanced behaviour.
Lunchtime: Nutrition and Hydration (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM)
Lunchtime at Zoomies is tailored to each dog’s needs (that is if they are on a specific feeding schedule. )
- If required Dogs are fed according to owner instructions and individual dietary requirements. We do this by separating the dogs to ensure no jealousy for those who are breakfast and dinners only.
- Fresh water is always available to ensure proper hydration.
- After eating, all dogs are given time to digest before resuming activities.
Afternoon Enrichment: Mental Stimulation (1:00 PM - 3:00 PM)
The afternoon is dedicated to activities that challenge your dog’s mind.
- Puzzle toys filled with treats encourage problem-solving skills.
- Basic obedience training reinforces good behaviour and mental focus.
- Sensory experiences like textured mats or gentle music provide stimulation.
- One-on-one time with staff allows for personalized attention and bonding.
Afternoon Play Session: More Fun and Games (3:00 PM - 5:00 PM)
As the day progresses, it’s time for another round of supervised play.
- Activities are adjusted based on the energy levels of the group.
- Water play may be introduced on warmer days to help dogs stay cool.
- Staff ensure all dogs are involved and having a good time.
Wind-Down Time: Preparing for Home (5:00 PM - 7:00 PM)
As pick-up time approaches, we help dogs transition to a calmer state.
- Gentle play and cuddle time with staff helps dogs relax.
- A final potty break ensures comfort for the journey home.
- Staff prepare report cards detailing your dog’s day, including activities, behaviour, and any notable events.
Special Features Throughout the Day
